It is believed that the Celtic cross has a similar meaning to the Native American medicine wheel. It is a navigation tool and symbolizes the transition of the seasons, marking the four Celtic fire festivals (Samhain, Imbolc, Beltain, Lughnasadh). The cross also symbolizes the four directions with the center as navigational markers for our spiritual journey. This Celtic cross is carved in hard sandstone from Germany.
The color ranges from dark red to almost white. Both sides are sculpted with knot work.
